Dr. Duong Hoang Dung obtained a PhD degree in Mathematics in 2013 from Leiden University, the Netherlands. After that, he has been teaching and doing research at Bielefeld University in Germany; at the Institute of Mathematics for Industry at Kyushu University in Japan; and at the School of Computing and Information Technology in the University of Wollongong, Australia.

Dr. Dung’s research interests include post-quantum cryptography and applications to blockchain and machine learning.
